St. Matthew's Donates Backpacks, School Supplies to Homeless Children

St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and Day School blessed and filled backpacks over the weekend for homeless kids and teens.

St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and Day School in San Mateo blessed and filled 100 backpacks on Sept. 8 for 100 InVision Shelter Network kids and teens.

The InVision Shelter Network brings attention to homeless children who attend school without the necessary school supply items.

With this in mind, InVision Shelter Network partnered up with St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church to fill the backpacks with donations including crayons, markers, paper, notebooks, and gift cards to fit-in with their classmates.
