PHOTOS: A Fun Sunday at the Foster City Arts & Wine Festival

Day two of the Foster City Arts & Wine Festival was warm, sunny and full of crowds.

Thousands turned out for day two of the Foster City Arts and Wine Festival on Sunday. Booths were full of browsers and shoppers, rides were full of happy screaming kids, and wine and food were enjoyed by all.

The Patch booth was no different, with hundreds stopping by to find out what we're all about and spin the Patch Prize Wheel. All around the festival, people could be seen carrying Patch canvas bags, sporting stickers and blowing up Patch balloons they won at our booth.

We're very excited for the few hundred people who signed up for our daily e-newsletter this weekend to join our Patch community and become enthusiastic users. Don't forget - you can send us a news tip anytime by e-mailing us at SanMateo@Patch.com, and you check us out on our Facebook page or on Twitter at @SanMateoPatch. I think the issue is much larger than whether children will experience stress. That ice rink is aRead More local institution, dating back at least to when Fashion Island was there. It's terrible for communities to lose so many landmarks and connect us to the past.

Dear Ari, Thank you for your service to our community. It's wonderful that you are already making aRead More difference.
