On Wednesday, June 13th, and Saturday, June
16th
, CSM will be participating at the San Mateo County
Fair
. CSM's students, faculty, staff and alumni, will be presenting a variety of music, dance and a hair and makeup demonstration on the "Brews & Blues" stage.

Performances will take place from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm on
Wednesday and 11:30 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday. CSM's bulldog mascot will be on hand giving out complimentary balloons, available for photos, and assisting our MC, Alex Guirba, with our prize drawings.

Community Relations & Marketing will be hosting an informational table along with other college staff and faculty programs & services. Please visit our table and check out our materials or ask us a question. We invite staff, faculty, administration and student participation.

If you're interested in volunteering to assist at the marketing tables please contact Alex Guiriba and/or Beverley Madden. If you can't volunteer just come by and say 'hi' when you attend the fair. This event
is coordinated by the Community Relations & Marketing Office.

CSM students, staff and faculy interested in performing on stage please contact Helen Souranoff, Theatre Events Manager. Helen is coordinating and booking acts for CSM Presents.

Yes, the world does not need another national chain retail store or restaurant, which is surely what they're planning to put in there.

Yes Bren, agree with you....good point.....really what it seems to come down to is money vs. theRead More good of the community and richness of traditions. And all despite the Master Plan for that site in San Mateo that seems to require an ice skating rink or similar recreational facility AT THAT SITE, and all despite the fact the Ice Chalet would like to continue operations there. The Developer has made it difficult to impossible for any ice rink to operate there (tricky it seems)....so they can get a cookie cutter retail outlet in ? .....very, very sad for the youth of the community.
