San Mateo Man Seeks Marrow/Stem Cell Donor
William Tse, 24, is in urgent need of a marrow transplant.
William Tse, 24, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblasticleukemia (AML) on January 14. He is in urgent need of a marrow transplant. This procedure is William’s only hope for his long-term survival.
A marrow/stem cell matching donor must be located before any transplant takes place. William is Chinese Singaporean and lives in Bay Area.
“I want to thank all of you who have taken the time and effort to help me out in this difficult journey in any way that you can. I’ve survived a rough ride so far, and I will continue to fight my way to a full recovery. I believe your help and support will give me the strength to fight this battle successfully. I hope you can help to spread the word to your circle of friends as well. Every little bit helps!” says William.

How You Can Help
We are looking for donors between the ages of 18 to 44 years old. Younger donors are best for patients because they provide the greatest chance for transplant success. Since William is Chinese, he'll most likely need an Asian donor. All ethnic minorities are encouraged to sign up.
