This weekend you can dump off electronic waste, destroy sensitive documents, and pass along clean clothes to those in need in one stop.
The city of San Mateo will take these items off your hands at a recycling event it's hosting on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Beresford parking lot (2720 Alameda de las Pulgas).
San Mateo residents can drop off unwanted electronics, up to three banker's boxes of documents for secure shredding, and clean used clothing at the event.
The city partnered with a private company (USAgain) for its clothing drive.
See the attached PDF for a complete list of acceptable and unacceptable drop-off items.
