About Moms Against Poverty:

Moms Against Poverty (MAP)  is a 501(c)(3) grassroots, volunteer-based nonprofit organization created in 2008 by a handful of concerned mothers passionate about the life of every child born to the human race. Since its inception, the organization has expanded to include a diverse group of volunteers who want to make a difference. MAP is dedicated to serving and supporting children living in poverty in the U.S. and around the world. Its vision is to nurture and educate these children to their fullest potential so they can one day contribute and be leaders in their communities, and breaking the cycle of poverty. This mission is carried out by developing and renovating schools and orphanages; providing food, education, health care and basic needs to these children one community at a time. MAP currently operates in the United States, Iran, Cambodia, Afghanistan, India and Sierra Leone. For more information about the organization, please visit:  www.momsagainstpoverty.org.
