Join Celebrity Landscaper Ahmed Hassan at Sunset Celebration Weekend

DIY Network’s popular “Yard Crashers” host Ahmed Hassan will present the “Plants for the Bay Area Backyard” and “Quick & Easy Backyard Projects” sessions at the 15th annual Sunset Celebration Weekend on Saturday, June 2nd through Sunday, June 3rd.

The “Plants for the Bay Area Backyard” presentation will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, from 11:15 – 11:45 a.m. and Sunday, June 3rd, from 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. at the Garden Stage. 

The “Quick & Easy Backyard Projects” presentation will take place on Saturday, June 2nd from 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 3rd, from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. at the Home Stage.  Immediately following each session, Ahmed will meet and greet his fans at the Orchard Supply Hardware tent.

Yes, the world does not need another national chain retail store or restaurant, which is surely what they're planning to put in there.

Yes Bren, agree with you....good point.....really what it seems to come down to is money vs. theRead More good of the community and richness of traditions. And all despite the Master Plan for that site in San Mateo that seems to require an ice skating rink or similar recreational facility AT THAT SITE, and all despite the fact the Ice Chalet would like to continue operations there. The Developer has made it difficult to impossible for any ice rink to operate there (tricky it seems)....so they can get a cookie cutter retail outlet in ? .....very, very sad for the youth of the community.
