The Hillsborough Police Department is investigating two vehicle burglaries that occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Sunday evening and Monday morning.

One burglary occurred on Downey at about 6 p.m., while the other occurred at an unknown time on Robinwood.

In one case, the vehicle alarm was set off by the suspect, but the owner did not check the car or notify the police.

Residents are advised to call police immediately if a car alarm sounds. Residents should also remember to remove valuables from plain view in vehicles when parked.
